Shop Fabrication & Welding
MBP Engineer’s services, includes a fabrication workshop with professional welders and boilermakers.
Our Personnel
We employ highly skilled individuals to ensure excellent quality and on-time delivery. Welders and boilermakers are coded according to specific tasks as per customer requirement using third party authorities like Moodley International / TUV to confirm compliance. Most of the fabrication shop personnel have been with MBP Engineers since inception and a good understanding and bond exists between management and employees.
Quality Control
MBP Engineers have the vision to exceed customer expectations. Therefore, the most important aspect during fabrication is the quality and accuracy of the end product.
Quality control and standards are confirmed with our clients prior to fabrication. A quality control plan (QCP) serves as the basis for quality and the client is given the opportunity for their input during the execution of tasks.
X-Rays and NDT are outsourced to third party inspection authorities should this be required by our clients.
Safety
MBP Engineers acknowledge that no work can be done unless done safely and has strict policy on safety in the fabrication shop. Our employees were consulted to assist in creating a safe working environment.
All fabrication work is done according to Safe Working Procedures (SWP) to which all personnel have been trained. Ad-hoc tasks only proceeds after a task specific HIRA has been successfully completed.
